IBG Models has finally revealed its upcoming kit -- a Lancia 3Ro truck that will come mounted with a 100mm howitzer.
Seen at their social media site is the box-art, and photos of the pre-production model built and painted by Konrad Dzik.

That seemed like a lot of gun on a truck bed without any supporting jacks so I had to ask Google about it ... I would not have believed it otherwise ... Interesting since there are other possibilities with that chassis: carrier for other guns, plain truck, armored truck, some sort of command post/mobile office. I hope that IBG will maximise their return on investment by doing the other variants as well / Robin

I just love it!! bored of the tedium of German vehicles being done and endlessly repeated by all the companies. I believe the LRDG used these trucks in the heavy supply trains, and please IBG, do the 90mm AA SPG version as well.

Very nice news indeed so many versions and fronts from Africa to Greece,the Balcans,Russia and clearly Italy they mount also the Breda ant the 90/53 and also the German used them a lot in Italy and Balcans they even build a version with the German wood cabin,in Italy was retired in the 60’s

Superb news, an italian truck at last! Just hope it opens the way for more variants on this chasis and more italian vehicles from IBG and other brands, there are lots and lots of very attractive and interesting machines to be done in plastic.

Gotta love this release. IBG have really released a lot of interesting kits. This is no exception. I hope I can get it for a decent price. My poor bank account.
