A preview of some of New World Miniatures (Mostly German so far) figures.
Although Chris Mrosko has promised that a lot of non German subjects will be covered by New World Miniatures he felt it was easier to start the sculptor off on a subject he knew. These Figures are all sculpted (AFAIK) by Brian Stewart.

The next set we should see will be Israeli Tankers 1948-73 with the Czech tanker helmet as well as an optional Kibbutz cap.

Gaston Hold on to your pants! These are just a few of the figures that we had already commissioned before we announced our product line. It takes more work and a ton more reference is needed for our sculptors when doing modern subject matter, think about about, these guys have been sculpting WWII figures since day one. So we are getting them the required info for the modern goodies, any time that you feel in giving me a hand with the research and reference material, just jump in .. Thanks guys and we will be up and running in a short period. Chris Mrosko New World Miniatures

Brother, let me know what you need, and I'll see how I can help! On second thought, I do admit being a bit more, uh, "aggressive" than I should've been. I have been eagerly awaiting new modern figs, so I was a bit disappointed. Regardless, as I said, the darned Germans do look really good, and I'm sure they'll sell like hotcakes, and don't take my comments as not wishing you the best on your venture. I do.

Has anyone heard anymore about this company? I bought 3 figures from them at the Virginia Beach IPMS Nationals. I haven't heard anything aobut them since. They just seemed to disappear off the radar. I even called the owner but haven't had my calls returned.

Search around for them. HLJ have a lot of them in stock. I don't know who stocks them Stateside. http://www.hlj.com/hljlist2/?Scale=0&MacroType=All&SeriTxt1=&Maker1=NWM&Dis=-2&GenreCode=All&Title=New%20World%20Miniatures

Hi dD Don't know what radar you're using but the news from Chris and his company has been steady and frequent. If you use the search"radar" here and go to news section and find New World Miniatures on the right hand drop down list it'll show all news items relating and you can then see each item in turn. I think Chris had some issues with the people he commissioned his company web site from so that isn't coming up at present correctly. Last release I think they announced was about two weeks ago LRDG figures. Quite a range considering how long they've been going. All the best. Alan

Colorado Miniatures stocks them, and has for quite a while. As Alan said, the website designers were stuffing Chris around, so he pulled the website plug for now - company's still going strong though. He's also got his own forum, which I'll see if I can find later for you (heading off to work shortly). Rudi

I picked up 3 of these figure sets at AMPs last month and have since ordered additional figures. I find them to be Well sculpted with little cleanup required and easily assembled. Some very nice poses and Nice details which were just right for a Dio that I have been planning. The customer service at NWM are top notch. milvehfan

I've known Chris since the 80's, and he is a very standup guy. You can usually find him at most IPMS and AMPS shows both national and regonal. He is very receptive to any ideas that you have, but like everyone in business his resources are sometimes limited. I personally would like to see more WW II American Halftrack crews, and have spoken to him about this several times. I have several of his figure sets and can only say they are first rate. Be patient with him and I'm sure he will give all requests/suggestions due consideration. I think there are more great things to come from him and NWM. His Blog if interested is: http://www.network54.com/Forum/526495/ Keep up the good work Chris Dave
