IBG Models adds another Imperial Japanese Army tank to its line of 1/72 offerings.
A derivative of the Type 97 Chi-Ha, the Ho-I was developed as a self-propelled howitzer tasked to provide fire support for other Japanese medium tanks. Its main 75mm gun gave it the punch to knock out enemy anti-tank fortifications.

Type 2 Ho-I Japanese Infantry Support Tank (72056). Kit highlights:
  • brand new molds, first time in plastic
  • one-piece plastic tracks produced using multi-directional slide molds
  • turret hatches may be built open
  • includes photo-etched parts and 2 crew figures
Scheduled for release by the end of February 2019.
