Consider this: If there were more WWII US/Allied subject matter on the market, maybe it would become just as popular as the German stuff...
Have you contacted any who you like their products directly with photos of poses you like? Your already fighting an uphill stream on German vs Allied, it's going to take the extra effort to see if any results. Posting on this or any other forum generic I wants won't get it done. Hating on product releases you don't like won't win you any manufacturing friends. They will need those sales money to offer you products that won't do as well sales wise.
I don't want to "keep whipping a dead horse", so I'm going to ask this question: Do any of you guys think that I haven't been writing and emailing the big manufacturers about this disparity in subject-matter..? It would be nice to have a little bit of support...
I don't know, which is why I asked. From you response it appears you may have been generic and all I am saying is one should be specific on that request. I am all for more US tank crews. As I am new to adding figures in builds I am not sure what I would want.

I haven't just been writing and emailing the big manufacturers about WWII US Tank Crews; I've mentioned a lot of Allied Tank Crews as well as more US/Allied Armor and Soft-skins, as well. I'm not going to go into specifics, because I'm only going to get shot down, AGAIN... As I said before, "It would be nice to have some support"... I've said this numerous before: If anything is ever to be released by the big manufacturers as far as more newly-tooled WWII US/Allied figures and vehicles are concerned, a concerted and active effort by modelers may get the big companies' attention. But every time I've said this, the "Panzer Clique" on this site tells me to shut up...

Yeah, Dennis, and we've never seen you complain about it before either.
OK, but HOW MANY WWII US/Allied Tank Crews do you see out there in comparison to the armies of German or for that matter, SS Panzer Crews..? Um-hmm, I thought so...
The fact that you are able to comment doesn't mean you should do.... The subject of the article is pretty obvious from the title so if it's not of relevance or interest to you then you have the option not to read it and in not reading it you won't get your pants in a twist about it. No ones forcing you to read the article.

For us modelers, this is a hobby. We buy and build what we like. The modeling companies have a different strategy, for them this is business. If they don't see a solid revenue behind a model, they are probably not going to produce it... It's as simple as that. Talking to most major figure companies over the years, I heard the same thing over and over again... German WW2 stuff sells. Allied stuff doesn't even come close. And that's it. If it was your business, your bread and butter, what would you do? Mario PS Dennis, please stop hijacking news threads dealing with figures you don't like.

These forums are supposedly designed for open discussion and for varied opinions to be voiced. It's pretty obvious that there are people on this site that "get THEIR pants in a twist" when opinions are expressed that run counter to theirs... Don't lecture me about what I should or shouldn't read...

Go back and read my original post. Did I not say that these figure were nice? I make a joke, and then I add, "but JEEZ!", and some of you guys are ready to guillotine me. I express my opinions later in the thread, and then I'm accused of "hijacking"!!! You know what? I'm going to go play with my two cats, rather than continue with this foolishness...
Read my post again grumpy...I never told or lectured you, just gave an opinion on what I thought you should do to avoid the obvious responses from folks. As for going of to play with your cats instead of this nonsense, well that's about the most constructive thing you said in this thread. Certainly goes along with my suggestion about reading stuff you don't like the subject of to stop the old panty twisting continuing.

Back to the figures -- they remind me of several sequences in memoirs I've read where especially later in the war Germans would cheer and go crazy upon seeing the Luftwaffe. These would be great for a forced perspective diorama. Even better if somehow to show that the crew believes its friendly but it really isn't.

I think they work well as a set but also can see the potential of using them individually to. It's a shame that so many of this brand and others like Tank, Live Resin etc are being recast by scumbags and sold via an unresponsive Ebay. I urge any modeller wanting to use resin figures please buy genuine originals or we risk seeing new figures drying up and manufacturers going out of business. Report any illegal copies you see to those manufacturers who at least have some chance of Ebay deleting the sale of these. It's only the manufacturers Ebay respond to, apparently.
