Bronco Model have just sent us images of two of their future 1/35th scale releases
The first set of images are of a very unusual release indeed:

CB35006 - CV L3/33 Tankette (Italian Army) This will be the first of a planned range of releases covering this diminutive vehicle. A total of three variants have been listed on the company website.

The second release should make the Allied builders very happy indeed:

CB35025 - A13 Cruiser tank Mk.III The first image (also shown on PMMS) indicates that things are moving along nicely with images of one of the first moulding blocks for the what will one of the major releases of 2008. More images of the sprues/test build will be available in the coming weeks.

Finally, our grateful thanks to Bronco Model for providing these images.

Bronco shows a perfect example of a perfect balance between allied and axis modelkits. Fantastic kits, both of them. Can't wait to buy them ! Frank.

Hi Guys, The tankette looks pretty neat, there are some interesting Italian kits starting to appear. On the A13, this is god news indeed. Al

That little Italian CV L3/33 Tankette will certainly look good keeping the little French Renault UE company, along with the little Polish TK series of Tankettes on a shelf. I'm looking forward to this kit.

Let's put a 35th scale figure next to it to see how small it really is! Dan

This little kit comes with an engine and limited interior . Very good to see Bronco Models going that little further for the modeller. Its a very small tank but packed with the detail Thanks

If we're seeing anything approaching a 'trend' with releases like these, the (plastic) manufacturers are now handling subjects that were previously the territory of the full-kit Resin manufacturers. To be honest, i've never seen anything like the last year in terms of releases of this sort. In a year, we've seen announcements of two Humber Scout cars, two Staghounds (plus ALL the major variants to come), two tankettes (French AND Italian), the French Hotchkiss H38/39, the LWS , an A30, and a Matilda. It's absolutely extraordinary. Perhaps it's time the site-users of Armorama started their own 'Oscars'? - there are manufacturers out their who deserve real recognition...

OK Bronco, very nice tankette. Now, could you possibly do a T-27? ;-)
