Dragon Models Limited have just announced another 1/35th scale figure set.
Consisting of four figures, 3 German and one Italian Bersagilieri, the new set is:

DRA6491 - Hunting the Partisans Yugoslavia 1943

Not many published details as yet, but the figures are wearing a mixture of uniforms and should be suitable for a variety of periods from Mid to Late-War. The set is being released under the company's '39-45' Series. No release date has been announced although following the usual 'trends' should be expected in February/March 2009.

Great to see another Italian figure (BTW it is "Bersaglieri"). The helmet looks seriously misshapen, however. It doesn't appear to have the turn-down over the ears. Hope they fix that. How about the partisans ?

Ha-Ha, the dude on the left looks like a crow flew into the side of his helmet!!! seriously, the three german figgys are excellent for dios, the Italian they could keep and just give me more gen2 equipment instead.

i like this german/italian combination. Also the way the MG crew fire upwards. I am interested in finding out what is the SMG that the ss MG crewman is carrying?- Bergmann?

Dilip, What I find even more interesting is that DML are including 2 sets of legs for the MG team - one in the upward firing position, the other flat. Rudi

Following this it would be nice to see some actual Partisans.

For Dilips question, from the position and angle, I would say it is an MP-34. They are sweet little SMG's, I had one for reenacting.

This may be the same weapon seen in a well-known photo of an SS man (who was subsequently caught and tried)during the repression of the Warsaw Ghetto, who is holding an SMG with a magazine that is sideways .

Great looking set, although the mix of italian and german troops is a bit strange. Anyway, good for mixing with other sets. Thanks for the update

Good looking kit, I like the inclusion of the italian figure a much ignored subject area
