Hungary based miniatures company The Body, owned by figure sculptor Krisztián Bódi, have recently announced the imminent release two new 1/35 scale WW2 head sets, including a US head set which although marketed as a GI set could certainly be used with other US military branches of the period.

Weren't the Marines of this period also issued with M1 helmets? If so then apart from the camo cover these heads would be suitable. The camo cover can easily be made from thin putty or even tissue paper. Rudi

These look quite usable for Marines. Not every Marine had or was able to keep the camo helmet cover. Depending on the campaign there are a number of photos of bare helmets on Marines and SeaBees. Gary
