Bronco Model have just sent us a significant update on some imminent releases.
All the new releases are in 1/35th scale and all are scheduled for release in early fall 2009.

The first four releases are a variety of 1/35th scale Track sets:

AB3522 - M1A1/M1A2 MBT workable track link set.

AB3524 - AS90 SPG workable track link set.

AB3525 - Leclerc MBT workable track link set.

AB3528 - Leopard 2 workable track link set.

Although ALL of these sets will prove useful, one of the most welcome sets will be that for the AS90 'Braveheart' SPG - tracks for this are a unique type..

The final release is the second 'outing' for the widely-used 40mm Bofors Gun:

CB35028 - Canadian 40mm Bofors AA Gun kit.

An extremely welcome announcement - not least bearing in mind the somewhat over-simplified recent Italeri offering and the widespread use of this piece both during and after WWII. Now, the need is ctreated for a good (injection) towing vehicle...

As always, our thanks to Bronco Model for the updates!

Hello: Regarding the 40mm Bofors, I might be missing something, but what makes this a "Canadian" version of the 40mm Bofors gun? I have read somewhere that it is because of the brand of tires or the tread pattern that comes in the kit? Also, I assume that this kit would be acceptable to use for any other commonwealth country such as Australia, New Zealand and etc as well as England? I believe that the Italeiri version is the U.S. version of the gun so this one will be a nice addition to our "wish lists" and maybe in due time, they will come out with the U.S. version. Michael
