New What If Panzer in 1/48

Gaso.Line have launched MEKATANK -a new line of 1/48 scale What if Panzers.

The first kit in the new series is MEK48001 Light robot WOLF I Kpf.Rt.10 Ausf.B

This is a 1/48 scale resin kit 1/48th resin kit with metal gun barrel. Kit has Mobile articulating joints and includes decals, Height: 8 / 9 cm

It is compatible with the DUST models range

I Like the look of this. If I had the money and the time I'd start building this line. Especially if I had the time.... :)

Nice, but not that exciting for me. I think where the Dust range succeeds is in their 'nearly WW2' feel. A good blend of realism and robots and enough detail to tie it to historical vehicles. The Wolf suit just looks like a box on legs (the BÄR I is better but still lacks something) and the only thing that ties it to any historical setting is the camo. Paint it in a modern pixel camo and it could be a modern vehicle, which could be what Gaso line's intention was, but aiming at no specific ...

Not quite it does use the German WWII FG 1250 infrared searchlight and scope

Funny little things. I always wonder where the engine is on those things? Or do they have some kind of kryptonian energy moving them forward? :) Cheerio!

Very low tech...its a hamster in a roller cage for power! :D Actually I like the kit...gives the 1/48 guys something and while it may fall alittle short on WWII'ness, the joy of us being modelers is that we can modify it to our liking. Heck, hack the top and install a KVII turret! I want "that" sherman...to go with my bashed version! ;)
