Incorrect, the Ontos saw use in its intended role during Operation Power Pack in the Dominican Republic in 1965, scoring hits against a Landsverk L-60 and a AMX-13 being operated by rebel forces. I recall building an Ontos many many moons ago. Don't remember the maker or even the scale. Glad to see something different coming out for us modelers.

I remember building the old Renwal kit many years ago. It was always one of my favorites. I will be getting this Ontos. Any one remember the Renwal M47 with the crew that popped up or went in with the gun barrel. They also all had engines with opening grill doors. TC
