Something on the ladies at war that I would love to see are the US WASPs. (Womans Air Service Pilots)These ladies ferried all types of aircraft from the factories to embarkation bases in the US where the boys would then fly them overseas. The other group of ladies I'd like to see are the female Soviet pilots of the Great Patriotic War represented

There was a special on the WASPs on the Pentagon Channel the other night. Their flights from the factories to the depots were often the aircraft's final checks. One woman talked about how the stick came off in her hand and she had a devil of a time bringing the aircraft in, which she did, successfully. I'd like to see someone do a little salute to Rosie the Riveter, since thats what my Mom (who made mess kits) and two of my Aunts were during WW2. John

The only slight problem I can spot with the RAF girl is that she's got a parachute wings badge on her arm (not aware of any female parachutists in the war) and no Leading-Aircraftwoman rank badge (2 bladed propeller) ,instead she's got a wireless, radio and radar operators and technicians badge. Other than that, nothing major and hopefully will look good alongside Tamiya's Austin Tilly.

Yes, apparently there's no photographic evidence to state that the RAF used the Tilly, (Tamiya's 1/48th markings?) but the A.T.S. did, so looks like a change of character!

As Danny Egan said the two figures with the German staff car are from Mini Art's Feldgendarmerie set, as well as the cover art which seems to be by the same artist for Mini Art. Is there a connection between Bronco and Mini Art.? It is strange that Mini Art includes older Dragon figure sets with their buildings when they have their own line of very good figures, and now includes their figures with another manufacturers' (Bronco) releases. Does this imply some kind of colaberation between some of the major companies?

MiniArt DO NOT include DML figures with their buildings. That is packaging by DragonUSA exclusively - it doesn't happen beyond those obtained from DragonUSA. What's so weird about companies cooperating? ICM and Italeri cooperate (succesfully) with Tamiya. Why wouldn't two companies such as MiniArt & Bronco cooperate - one with a proven track-record with figures and the other with Armor? Seems pretty normal from where i'm sitting.
