And you missed the second suggestion there: build your own. Fine screen and plastic strip and you're done. Prior to the wide availability of photo etched parts that's what a lot of us did. Mark

I've got nothing but respect for the designers I know who work for DML. So, in no way, should this be seen as any reflection on THEIR work. Unfortunately, if DML was only to be as exacting with their OTHER vehicles as they are with Axis, they'd be unbeatable. I don't think it's even a question of not taking them seriously, they just don't seem as interested in anything beyond Axis...

Was that when you had to walk barefoot to school uphill both ways? Like I said, Dude, I'm not that interested in fixing a kit like this, not a new one at any rate. DML has had time to correct what's wrong with its Soviet armor, so if they're letting substandard molding slide through kit after kit, I'll look for other options. There are too many out there (and in my basement) to struggle with something that requires correcting the grating so substantially. But I appreciate the suggestion on returning to those golden years of yesterday....

My interest in Russian and Frenh armor are only in Beutepanzers.Unhappily Dragon T-34/76 are garbage. I will not give Dragon my money for inferior quality at high price. Just waiting that some manufacturer take the T-34/76 serious. José César

Jose, Unfortunately, the DML kits are the only game in town. AFV Club's T-34s are very poor (in fact, the worst kits they make) and Tamiya's are many years old and from a time before we even dreamed of the level of accuracy we expect now. Though disappointing, I would not call them "garbage", just lacking the level of detail that we should all expect for their absurdly high price. Mark
