Russian firm Miniart send us news of their latest plastic figure set release. 35083 British Royal Engineers.
An interesting release for British WW2 fans, these four figures include a wide variety of gear and equipment, the set including 66 parts. Built out of the box they make a great mine clearing scene, with mines and signs included.

These figures can find themselves in many WW2 settings and dioramas and offer many opportunities to the modeller.

Well done again Miniart The detail is excellent ,near resin quality . I just recieved my first miniart jeep crew set and was astounded with the detail in the head profiles, the face and hand detail is exceptional. I look forward to getting these figures as well as the tank riders. Michael

I like the look of this product and have been looking forward to it since the news first came out. While I do not have any plans for them it is one of those figure sets you just have to have as you never know when it will come in handy.

I think that I haven't been fair with Miniart's line of figures. I just dismissed them as relating to the Tamiya figures which I'm not all too fond of. This is a bad habit on my part even if it is understandable. Please keep us informed on Miniart's line of figures as I will most likely start adding them to my stash along with the rest of the crew here

According to Miniart's website these are available -anyone seen them? From the sprue shots it looks like I was right and no bayonets are included

Hi Pat, Yes, I have 2 boxes . Came up on Netmerchants site about 2/3 day ago. First look says they are pretty good. The respirator cases look a little big, everything else seems to be OK. I shall do a more indept review this weekend. Al
