A number of years ago, Ampersand published a guide to the Sherman, which broke new ground in the sense it was aimed specifically at the modeller. This process has been followed by publishing houses such as Osprey who have realized that their is a lucrative market for project-based books such as these.

Currently Ampersand have three other books (in print) dealing with 3 popular modelling subjects - Engineering Vehicles, The Tiger I and the Kubelwagen.
