The new release list from Bronco arrived the other day. Unfortunately due to a number of work commitments I haven't been able to post it until now. Late, but VERY impressive...
Three new releases for next month, two of which are absolutely unique in styrene and the third following a trend the company began a while back. All release are 1/35th scale:

In figures, once again the PLA gets attention with:

CB35078 - PLA Marines Force Soldier On 60th National Day Parade.

Onto the other releases:

CB35071 British 17/25 pdr anti-tank gun ‘PHEASANT’ .

CB35099 GAZ-69 Anti-Tank Vehicle 2P26 'Baby Carriage'

Now, a word of explanation. The Pheasant was a stop-gap measure to bring the 17 Pounder AT gun into the field in greater numbers by adapting a 25 Pounder carriage to take the gun. It was never a particular succesful conversion as it was difficult to tow due to a rather unbalanced center of gravity. The release of this model is INCREDIBLY welcome as it fills another gap in the limited range of towed British artillery.

The GAZ-69 contains another unique element - the first AT-1 "Snapper" Wire-guided AT missile in styrene.

Our thanks to Bronco for the Update!

Thanks, Jim, very interesting stuff. Bronco continues to stake out its own path. As an aside, I don't think I'd want to drive or ride in the "baby carriage" after a salvo of those rockets. The residue of spent fuel must've been awful.

This i s not baby carriage, this is Shmel - first Soviet AT miisiles.

I think they nick-name it "baby carriage" because of the "tent" like cover that baby carriages have which look like the back part.... I think Hisham

Whatever it's really called, I'm going to look forward to adding that GAZ-69 as well as the 25pdr to my build stack My question now, when is Bronco going to add some British gun tractors to their product lineup?
APR 27, 2011 - 06:39 AM
Ah, great news on the 17/25 pdr. I've been tidying up my tractors. A re-release of the Italeri Gun Tractor would be timely but a new Matador would be equally welcome Have we a release date yet for the DML 25pdr? Cheers Al

The 17/25 pdr is a must have.
APR 28, 2011 - 04:44 PM
I bet that one of the next Bronco releases will be a Quad gun tractor...
APR 28, 2011 - 08:04 PM
Bronco's got to be doing a 25 pdr now as well?
