The other day, when Bronco Model sent us their latest list of New Releases, the highlight, for many, was the prospect of a NEW British/Commonwealth AFV Crew in 1/35th Scale. Here's the Update...
Bronco have just sent us a batch of images of the New 1/35th Set:

CB35098 - British/Commonwealth AFV Crew set

- A six-figure set which include both the Denim AFV Crew Uniform and the 'Pixie Suit'. As a 'bonus', the leather jerkin is included on one of the figures.

Edited Images at the side....

Our thanks to Bronco Model for the Update!

Wow! These figures look excellent! I love the natural poses. Good weight distribution/balance to the figures. Realistic draping and folds to the clothing. And very good anatomy. These will be a "must have" for me!

This looks to be an excellent selection of British AFV crew members and the undercuts of the jerkin on the figure having a cuppa look exceptional. I have noted that they look to have a few fit issues but nothing that cannot be over come.

Nice set. Does anybody know if they can be used to depict a BEF AFV crew?

Hi Matt, The chap drinking tea would eb OK for the BEF, The Officer with the radio seems to be in Battel Dress so shoudl be OK for the BEF too,but the chaps in pixie suits wouldn't suit as they were a late war issue. Al

I just received this kit in the mail today and I am impressed. The quality of the sculpting and molding is excellent. Bronco has made great strides in their figures. I would recommend this kit to anyone interested in a crew for thier British/ Commonwealth vehicle. I have a Humber Scout Car and Firefly that are getting these. It's been a long time but we're finally getting some quality Allied figures....especially vehicle crews. Jeff

Smart move to have them wearing gloves, so sculpting the hands isn't as much of an issue as with bare hands in styrene.
