Some tanks in World War 2 lacked sufficient stowage space, thus tank crews stowed items on the tank where they could. On the Sherman tank this was usually the rear deck plate and front glacis. Value Gear has continued to offer more stowage aimed at the M4 Sherman with another great looking stowage set.

Review
Value Gear has started a series of resin cast stowage bundles for the Sherman tank, this set is designed for the Tamiya M4 Early Production Sherman (35190). The pieces are cast in resin, and look very good, with no bubbles and no flash. The casting shows great details on the pieces with a variety of stowage items that would be found on a U.S. Sherman tank.
The set includes a larger bundle of stowage for the rear deck that includes a drum, wooden boxes, and various rolled tarps. The large bundle for the rear is draped in a tarp and does look very good. For the front glacis it includes a box, U.S. style duffel bag and rolled tarps. The other various stowage items include a small stack of boxes with tarps and tools, and individual packs, wooden boxes and rolled tarps. The entire set looks to be a great and easy way to add the realistic stowage to a U.S Sherman tank.
While the set is designed for the Tamiya kit, I seemed only to have an early Dragon Mk.III and the fit of the stowage items looks good. With a little work this set could be used on almost any Sherman tank kit.
Conclusion
This is another great stowage item from Value Gear. While aimed as a specific kit, this set could still be used elsewhere with very little effort. The set is very well cast and show great detail, I highly recommend this set from Value Gear.

The good thing about these new Value Gear sets is how they are now aimed at specific tank kits rather than just a one-size-fits-all.
I hadn't looked at this real close (value gear), but being at the IPMS convention I can see every set in person and its really nice stuff, nice casting and large variety.
