Introduction
Mathos Models is making a name for themselves with a growing line of diorama scenery items made with a variety of materials. This model is Wooden Fence A, item 35028, 1/35 resin wood slat fence sections. It can be used regardless of the subject matter anywhere that people made fences with slats of wood.

Wooden Fence A
This is a sharply cast resin pair of fence sections and three posts. The wood slats are so thin that one must be careful handling the pieces so as not to snap the tops.

This scale-thinness also allows the pieces to warp. Fortunately, a quick dunk in a mug of boiled water softens the part enough that a quick pressing on a flat surface smooths it out.

Held in a zip-top bag are five pieces. The sections are 8.5 x 3.5 cm (3.35" x 1.38"). Mathos Models molded slots in each post so the sections can be in-line or create a corner.

This model is 1/35 yet I included a 1/48 model for those who wonder if it could work for the smaller scale.

Detail
These are crisply etched and have very fine wood grain. Nail pocks are visible, too.

Conclusion
Wooden Fence A is an excellent way to create a neatly detailed slat fence to your diorama.

Detail is very fine as is the thickness.

The only possible trouble I foresee is accidental mishandling can damage the boards.

I recommend this crisp resin set of rustic fence for 1/35 modelers.
