Introduction

Despite their main production is for Aircraft cockpits, Yahu keeps extending their range of 1/35 vehicle dashboards in coloured photoech.

The latest additions offer again very high quality products, let's see them in detail.

Ural 4320 late

This set is suitable for kits from Trumpeter, Alanger and Zvezda. It comes with a full black dashboard, which includes switches, and another plate to put in the rear with the dials and buttons.

The instructions have real-size templates for cutting the original kit parts in order to replace them with the photo etch. Once done so, both photoetch parts can be put in place. At least at first sight, it seems a very straight-forward process

UAZ 469

This set has five individual dials that must be removed from the fret and put on the plastic dashboard of the kit. There are also three placards, one for the interior and two for the exterior of the vehicle

Conclusion

Not much more can be said, again these sets are impressive and will greatly improve the look of the models, specially if you intend to take close up photos of them. I have done my best to take good photos of the tiny detail they have, it is amazing to see how using the macro mode, the numbers and letters reveal being readable.

Sometimes I go for specific and rare vehicles, of which only two or three photos are known so it takes me a lot of time to figure how everything w...
