introduction
In March of this year, Friendship Models from Scotland, launched their own line of 1/35th scale accessory item under the under the "Wee Bit" Logo. The British 2 gallon POW (petrol, oil, water) kit is one of those new sets.

Brief History
During WWII, the British Army used various sizes of "Flimsies" to transport Petrol, oil, and water to their units in the field. The ease of resupply was primary do to the use of these cans and a must in places like North Africa were supply lines were very long.
Sizes ranged from the 1 gallon to the 4 gallon size. Construction of these cans varied also in material used. The 4 gallon can construction was with tinned steel with soldered seams, side seams rolled and soldered with Zinc lids. These 2 and 4 gallon cans could be found stowed on all types of British vehicles during the war on all fronts.

Overview
The P.O.W. cans came in very simple packaging. A 3x5 type card folded over with the "Wee Bits" logo stamped on front and company information printed on the back, held in place by two office staples a resealable small plastic bag with 10 P.O.W. cans contained inside.
The P.O.W. cans are made of a light, cream colored resin. Two resin pour blocks with 4 each and one block with 2 each totaling 10. Removal of the cans from the blocks can be made using the standard modeling techniques. Clean up looks to be very, very light if any is needed at all. Very clean looking pieces with good overall detail.
The only flash noted is in the handle area. Removal of this flash is not recommended for the novice modeler. A steady hand and good vision will be required for this task to be successful.
No decals or photo etch came with this item. No instructions or paint guide was provided with this item. None is really needed.
SUMMARY
Highs: Very minimal clean up if any is needed. Simple packaging. Very good detail.
Lows: Flash under the handles may cause challenges for the novice modeler. Translated from Pounds, at around $5.40 a crack, USD, price may be a issue for some that are on a budget. However, It is still affordable.
Verdict: Overall, A very impressive accessory set. Hats off to Friendship Models.
