Introduction

AddOn Parts was introduced to us a little more than a year ago and since then they have continue to release new accessories in multiple scales, in both resin and plaster. I have recently had a chance to look at a few of their offerings and must say, they look good.

Contents

One of their latest releases is a set of 1/35 scale 20mm Flak ammunition boxes. The set comes with 10 resin cast ammunition closed boxes.

Review

The casting is crisp, with well done details. The ammunition boxes come cast on to casting blocks, and I found no air bubbles or flash. The cast on handles and latches show good detail, and when painted up with a wash, look very good.

I was able to apply the paint(Vallejo) directly to the resin with no issues, and a quick paint shows great potential for these little ammunition boxes for a diorama, stowage, or part of a bigger load in the back of a truck.

Refering to a few images online, these ammunition boxes from AddOn Parts very closely resemble the real thing.

Conclussion

These 20mm ammunition boxes are a great addition from AddOn Parts, and would be a definite ‘must have’ in the spares box to dress up a diorama or model. I highly recommend.
