I was uploading the photos of the new Italian Infantry in Russia figures from Royal model and something about the left hand figure seemed familiar  Below is an older figure from Allarmi another Italian company.  Is there a photo both figures are based on maybe? |

Dont know about a photo but I think the old Alarmi figure just edges it over the newer Royal model figure. He looks a little more natural. Dont know if its the painting/image but the RM helmet doesn't look quite right. I really like the older figure, looks very animated,like he's just about ready to lift his rifle and take a pot shot.Nice pose. The detail on the RM figures looks nice mind. The MG looks great. |

Has Allarmi stopped production on that figure, sometimes the moulds may get sold on to other manufacturers? Just a thought. |

Hi No, the figures are just striking a similar pose. There are several figures I can think of that strike similar poses to competitors figures. I think these Royal Model figures would work well with the Allarmi ones and you could also add this one from Alexander Miniatures to make a good scene Alan |
