If it helps, Pat, think Landrovers - you've got no problem accepting something like the Hotspur or any of the assorted Shorland Landrover derivatives as armored cars, the likes of the M1151 are to vanilla HUMVEEs what those are to the original soft-skin Landrover.

Or, if you want to get historical, look at the proportion of ACs up until WWII that were just armored bodies on standard civilian car or truck chassis. It's only since the middle of WWII that the majority of armored cars have been built as such from the ground up, and even then assorted armored Landrovers, etc, are still big sellers to customers who don't want something LAV or BTR-sized, and are more interested in crowd control or other urban usage.

I would like to see the early WWII Dutch DAF M39 armored car. It was a very cool looking vehicle and the Germans captured as many as 8 of these cars and used them for anti-partisan duties. I would also like to see any British, Italian or French injection molded armored cars not already produced. There are so many early war vehicles that are just not offered by the major plastic manufacturers. DML produces every known and "paper" variant of every German vehicle produced or even thought of. I would like to see them take a risk and do something out of the ordinary.......even a Polish 7tp tank might be nice!

Just my 2cents worth

There are TONS of South African vehicles (their whole army is based on wheeled armor), and many of the French armored cars as well. Start with the Panhard VBL, VBC-90, Panhard AML 90, and the VBCI Nexter. What a line-up!

Textron's V-200 and LAV 300 series would be a shocker too.

Being Swede the obvious choice would be PTGB 9 "Galten" (South African RG32M). And of course a model of the Swedish police new "Secured vehicles" would be nice... Image link

I'd love to see the Panhard AML series of armoured vehicles in 1/35 plastic, so much history with these and they were in so many wars
(I have the resin kits, theyre a little dated and have noticible faults and they're way to expensive to buy more)

I'd love to see a plastic Landsverk M38 too

I would agree with Roy, a Landsverk would be great as would a decent plastic Saladin.

That said, a plastic 1/35th pack of hounds. Boar,Deer and Wolf would be absolutely superb.

The XM808 Twister, M38 Wolfhound, and Commando Scout have been on my 1/35 wish list for a long time, in that order

I would also like to see a new tool M3A1 Scout Car and more early armored cars.

How about some Sea Bees models. For all that they did during the war, they seem to be completely overlooked. I, for one, would love to include them in a diorama.

Hi!

Thomas, youre from Skäne, whereabout?
Me, Im from Malmö.

Concerning thé BA-64. It was originally released by AER but others have relaesd it under different names, anyway its rubbish, incorrect, and bad fit! Avoid it!
Vision Models are planning to release a new one and their first (only one so far) kit, the 75mm Pack howitzer is very nice so I for one look forward to it at least.

Otherwise I can garantee you wont be dissapointed in the future, plenty of new wheeled armour in the pipeline and you dont have to wait to long, look out for a new kit any week now!

I have to go with the Saladin, the Diamler, AMX10RC and the later Humbars. But especially the Saladin I was even thinking of laying out the $ when AA finally comes out with it. I hope they do better then they did with the M103 which has been in the works for 4 years and looks like it was dropped

I think I'd cast my two cents for the Otter a BTR40 and a AML 90, in that order.

A Saladin would be cool. Wasn't that a couple of Saladins in the news footage ,shooting in a futile effort toward the invading Iraqis coming up the beach in Kuwait ? I wonder if they fought till the bitter end or just gave up. That would make a good dio...........Al
