I've built the Saladin and it was very very nice indeed

When the kit came, being a resin producer myself and knowing a little about making masters and casting, I gave it a very critical eye and the quality was very high indeed

More than worth the money in my opinion, but get strong shelves because they weigh a ton. The Saladin completed, without base, weighed half a kilo!

I have not built any of KFS military offerings, but I have plenty of experience with the 1/24 civilian truck side of things. Castings have always been top notch. I have the CAT excavator that I have not built yet, mainly because I've not been success with my weathering experiments. But dry fit of the casting is incredible. Parts are carefully packed and fit well. Little if any clean up. Was it worth it (the excavator in 1/24?), most certainly worth every penny!

My biggest complaint about KFS is that once you build their kits, you'll have a tough time coming to terms with any thing of lesser quality. Service is always good too.

Man, I've been drooling over their Humber Pig, Saracen and other Northern Ireland subjects!!

If I ever hit the lottery I am going to buy 'em all up! At some point, will have to save up for that Pig! Their figures look great, too!

Can't wait to see what their Saxon looks like...

Great news!!

Regards and Aloha,

I was just recently turned onto Howard's site and was completely blown away. Not only are the models superbly made but I was also impressed as to what models he's chosen to produce in 1/24. Some of those things are monsters!

The HMLC 6x6 looks large enough to need it's own zip code! I can guess the amount of effort that went into that one alone was pretty amazing. I'm in the process of saving up for one now.
