Hello,
Here is the M-atv from Panda which precedes the same model provided in Kinetic, € 30 for the box is busy even though the box art is "sad."
Clusters are flawless cast, etched plates of 3 are provided.
The notice glossy black and white seems a little confused ....
A few photos:

Olivier
Thanks for the pics, but a state of the art review will be better to keep track on your work.
This post will be flushed really rapidly no the review

Cheers

I'd add to that, it really would be incredibly helpful if this was submitted as a FULL Review. That way, it's here for posterity, not just for a few days as it falls off the Forums...

Great to see someone has started working on this beastie. A full review and a SBS WIP would be very great. Oh, and finally this topic went straight to my my bookmarks menu.
Good luck and I hope to see more in-box and build pics soon!

Good to see this kit getting built. Is there a seam line across the tire thread?

Some photos of the ECM antennas and the suspension (the springs) will be much appreciated. Finally, does it comes with some accessories like Bronco's M1114 series - I mean assault rifles, communication sets for the interior etc.

I receive mine yesterday. What a deception opening the box the kit looks like a ols Ogoniek kit (russian kit maker in the 70 from USSRduring Cold War)

The wheels are not very looking as the real thing :

Hey,

From the photos, a lot of the sprues have flash and many of the molded parts look to have soft detail... I never understood what reviewers meant by having 'flash' and soft detail until I saw this

Thanks for the pics. It's not that bad, all of the flash can be easily removed. Most disappointing for me are those soft nuts, bolts and rivets, especially on the turret, but this should be easily corrected with Voyager turret set for bronco's M1114. A new RHINO is also a must IMO.
Anyway, this model is a dream come true for me, I'm expecting mine soon. It'll be interesting to see the Kinetic offering.
Thanks again, Pascal and Olivier and Good luck.

I've been saying that we might want to wait until Kinetic's release comes out. I have not seen the final product yet, but initial images look pretty promising.
The Panda kit does impress me though, simply because they have the OshKosh logo on the wheels and differentials. The Vajra kit did not. Hopefully a food blister with the initials C"P"M won't tip them off and try to cause them problems.

By the way, the above photo of the wheel is mine, If you want close ups like this of every square inch of this beast including the underside and interior, PM me. Comes with RG-31 walkaround as well. (hint)

I just got mine in the mail today, and I have to agree about the bolt detail being somewhat soft.. but over all the kit looks pretty good with lots of detail in some areas.. but missing in others! I think maybe they just wanted to hurry up and release it?

Anyway, I'm going to wait for the Kinetic kit to be released and then compare the two before I start working on them.

Here's the thread with the pics of the Kinetic kit.. for those who might have missed it before

The tyres are fine and the lines on the side wall are on the actual tyre.
I am building it at the moment and apart from having to make a few holes and slote a little bigger it is going together fine.
I will be pitting a OWS on mine so the bolt detail will not matter in my case.

After looking a dozen time to the pics, I have to raise an important question: Oshkosh is not really well-known to permit logo usage.
So are they using the logo without any written permission, if it is the case official import will be detain at customs.
I am asking that because Hobbyboss didnot have permission for their M1070.
Someone can comment on that. ??

Cheers

Hi Olivier, can you do me a favour?

What are the measurements of the vynil tire? Width, overall diameter, and hub diameter? I think they might be suitable for another project.

Thanks!

I think Kinetic should send you a free one for that plug... ;-)

It's a pity you feel that way though. The one up-to-date shot does look good.

There's an interesting comparision between the two versions at the end of this thread: https://armorama.kitmaker.net/forums/187564&ord=&page=2
