Wow that really looks great Dung real clean start. Will you be adding gear and other details through out the model. The 4X4 MRAP model is the only kit I need to finish my "Bomb Patrol Afghanistan" road diorama. I have all the othe vehicles, Husky, Buffalo, M-ATV and the M984 wrecker.

Too much resin and PE for me but a fasinating vehicle and a great start. I'll be watching in awe....

Sean - Have you tried a resin kit yet? I find them usually easier than plastic kits since most of the parts are larger and not split up into a bunch of pieces to make one thing. You should give one a try, it may surprise you. I bet you would do great with one.

@Gino: it depends on which manufacture, such as Hobby Fan, not fit anymore. With Legend, it is very easy to build

I have built a bunch of different manufacturer's resin kits and still don't think they are really that much harder than plastic kits.

I will agree that Legends products are some of the best.

In my opinion, Hobby Fan's are pretty good too.

I have just built M911 and M51 tractor of Hobby Fan, but i'm not pleasure anymore, the resin is so hard and easy to break, have to cut too much for fitting

The only full resin kits I've done are sci-fi from Fantastic Plastic but I've used a lot of Legend, MIG, Blast etc after market upgrades, figures and stowage. My problem with resin is the clean up getting the pour-blocks off, loads of filing and sanding, the instant bonding with super glue so everything has to be perfectly alligned as soon as the parts touch, paint peeling off and all those tiny PE detail bits: I just can't manage it right with my thick fingers and poor eye-sight. Plus there are enough good modern vehicles in proper plastic to keep me going....
Again, just my personal preference. Anyway, don't want to turn this into a plastic v resin thread so I'm going to sit back and enjoy watching Quac at work here on another of his masterful builds.

I really like what you're doing with this kit. When I see the protections on the windows I just can't understand how you can paint the model without spraying the clear parts

I'm with the others on how you're going to paint it without overspray? Take it back apart?

Pictures like these tell me I still have a chance at building models. Maybe not at the same level, but it's still possible to be building.
