Thanks for the review Seb. It does look like a nice kit. Mine is still on it's way here. I wish they had updated some of the M1078 parts as well. Opening doors and a more detailed cab would have been nice. They also left the same incorrect spare tire. All the outer holes around the rim should have nuts and bolts. They are for the two-piece rims and are always present when the rim is assembled. They can be easily replaced with some nut/bolt pieces though.

You are right

80% of this kit is from the M1078.
So there is not much change on the original flaws mainly the cabine.
I can understand Trumpeter on the quest of cost saving.
But they can produce an open version of the cabin with better seats and more accurate interior for modelers that are interested of opening the cabin
Only the cabin as an upgrade kit
An email has been send to Trumpeter in that sense
