Matthew Lenton builds and reviews the final part of Dragon's small scale Panzerfahre trilogy: there’s some mystery, but a fairly happy ending.

Matthew,

This is one VERY impressive combination and potentially will make for an even more impressive diorama. Problems with the instructions again, typical Dragon! But leaving out how to attach the barge to the vehicles! It seems that it would have been ideal to make the roller chain out of DS plastic rather than styrene which is a lot more flexible. Good review and hopefully we'll see this beast in a diorama some day.

Cheers,
Jan

Dragon makes some peculiar errors. With all of the small chains out there, especially in the model railroad world, surely they don't have to make the chain from plastic. Still, this looks like a really cool model that, like Jan said, offers excellent diorama potential.

So Fred (just to put you on the spot - ) do you know of any small chains available of specifically that type, i.e. the gear / cycle chain sort?

In fact there is also a need for a smaller normal linked ring type chain as well, as visible on the box art, though I do already have something like that from a local model ship shop. But the cycle chain type seems more obscure, any ideas?
