I love Land Rovers but haven't got much knowledge about SAS.
What makes those figures SAS?
I see one of them has a beard, but otherwise...

Good find. Also I don't think the SAS use the SA80. They would make pretty good pathfinders/brigade patrol troop with just a little work. I'll be getting a set to go with my landy.

I love the interaction of the figures, Masterbox is No1 in making cool vignettes out of the box. However, I also don't see these as SAS.

thanks for sharing. They are looking nice. Would be cool to see some modern Australian SAS Figures too with shemagh for example or an SAS team like Bravo-two-zero in the 90´s.

They look like most British troops to be honest, nothing about them would strike me as 'SAS'. As you said, I don't believe they use the SA80- I think they use for their main assault rifles Canadian license built versions of the M4. They might also use the Sharpshooter rifle introduced to the British Army a few years ago. I'd point out the helmets too- they look fairly standard issue- the SAS would probably either go without or use some of the myriad of specialized helmets out there.

I saw the other post and agree, they dont have enough Gucci gear or be SAS.
But Specops sells kits, so there we go.

While I spoke with Masterbox about the SAS issue, he asked me about images of contemporary SAS trooper. I told himn that these will be hard to get. So if anyone here can point out something it will be helpful. No retired SAS personal here???

"SAS" and "Para" Sell. Put "1st Royal Anglian's" or "4,Rifle's" on the box and only sell half the amount!!

A quick reply, the SAS does use the Dimeaco as do 1 Para SFSG. The Pathfinders use the WMIK as do the SBS. Pathfinders I believe also use the Dimeaco. Live Resin are producing L85a1/A2 along with LSWs so pretty much all bases covered. The SAS don't use the WMIK as they moved from the DPV to the Jackal.
Regarding beards....they were common in Afghan especially with the outlying FBs when water was short and when the troops dealt with the local population as a beard is a sign of maturity.
