Hey,

I've bought two older, 1:72 Revell Leopard 2 kits (an A4 and an A5 KWS) and was wondering about alternative camo schemes to the three-tone NATO one (green-brown-black) for Bundeswehr tanks that would be realistic for any of these two types. Our friend Google was not much of a help, unfortunately so I was hoping for your expert opinion on this.

I was thinking of the desert three-tone camo but was not able to find any images showing the vehicles above in this "dress".

Many thanks in advance!

Hi Christian,
you could try just about any of the demonstrtor schemes as these seem to tend towards desert/arid type schemes. Theresalso the PSO demonstrator with a dozer blade and an urban Block scheme, similar to that used by the Berlin Brigade

The A4 is used by Chile- in an overall sand tone and Polish A5's replace the NATO BNrown with a Tan type of colour for adifferent look. Also there's the options for a 4 tone greek scheme.

Here are some ideas for the A4 variant:

I have seen German A4s with white patches in winter exercises as well, but most photos I have are copyrighted material.
