The pic below is of my Grandfather in Belgium (1944 IIRC).



I've been looking for figs to re-create this vignette, and with a little Canada-ization of the uniform, this would be PERFECT!!!

Indeed....The first time I saw this photo, it was during a video-slideshow with the extended family.

Everyone just kind of looked over at Grandpa, and all he could say was"Uhhh......war is hell".

I believe the vehicle is an M3 Halftrack, but I'm not 100%

I'm certainly no expert, but I believe that with the sliding window shutter on the inside (outside in this view as the window armour is folded down) it is either going to be an M5 or an M9, I can't tell you the difference, but someone else might!

I really hope so...the upper half is posed so perfectly, and only minor work would be needed for the uniform & lower half.

Those would actually suit my needs better, as I can't find a ton of M3's, but M5's & 9's seem more readily available. Thanks for the heads up!
