You mean this one, Terry: https://www.scalemates.com/kits/115181-trumpeter-00207-280mm-k5-e-leopold-railroad-gun?

It'd be great to see it built in this campaign but it is so screaming "storage place problem once built"

Yes sir!!! That's the one I have sitting in the basement, I'm going to dig it out tonight and try and get a few pics uploaded, it's been a while since I've been active in my builds and what better way to get back into it then a 1000 plus piece. Lol nothing like jumping right into the deep end of the pool!!

There was a very pertinent question from Brian in the 500+ campaign thread concerning kits that would match this new campaign. We should try and list up the kits that would be over the 750 part count limit. Since we all have different preferences in regards to subject, era or kit manufacturer I think this would help a lot.

Let me start with my personal candidates:
Meng or Trumpeter Smerch
Trumpeter Frog 7 - to be confirmed when it will be available
Takom KraZ-6446 Tractor with Trailer
Trumpeter Rubezh - to be confirmed when it will be available
Trumpeter Scud 2P19 and 9P117M1 Launchers
Trumpeter A-222 Bereg

Hobby Boss M1070/M1000 - Which is what I'm building.

I'd say most of the newer tank offerings by MENG, Takom, Rye field.
I think even the modern Russian Tanks by Trumpeter.
I watched a video with the Zvezda T-90 and it had over 200 parts in the turret alone.

Cristian, The trumpeter 2P19 is very impressive! I added that kit to my wish list.

As mentioned in the rules, you are all allowed to start your kits earlier as long as you're not beyond 50% on the official start date. In case the kits were not started already when you signed up for the campaign, this 50% limit is also not so strict.

I may be able to start mine earlier, but I'm trying to finish up two other builds before I jump into another.

Hello,

I'd like to join this campaign with the Trumpeter T-64 Main Battle Tank Mod. 1981. It only has 540 parts, but I will add the MasterClub Workable Metal Tracks for T-64, which should nudge me past the 750 line.

Cheers

Matthew

Sounds good Matthew! Are you sure the tracks alone will add more then 200-220 parts to the overall count?

Looks like I'll have to change my build for this campaign. Originally I was doing my build for two campaigns. I looked in the rules for such a discrepancy and did not see one. Now the rule exists. I'm not sure what I'll build for this yet. Sorry for any inconvenience.
