Hey, since the Artillery Campaign deadline has been extended, I'm doing a 2nd build for it. Yea!!!!
I'm doing the 88mm Gun Flak 18 by Hasegawa in 1/72 scale. I'm also updating the gun crew with a set from Caesar Miniatures. It's the WW2 German Anti-aircraft AA crew set.
The time extension should be enough for me to finish. Thanks for viewing. Let's get busy! Bill

I already liked the halftrack - really like the figure posed with it!

Michael, Ken, and Clayton thanks guys. It was a fun, if hurried, build. Only 6 more Dragon U.S. H/t’s in the stash to go!

Guy, love the Howitzer Halftrack. The build and paintwork look awesome. Glad you added a figure to the project. Vehicles always look better when populated. Hahaha. KUTGW!

2nd entry update for 88mm Gun Flak 18 with crew.
The transport trucks are assembled. The wheels are left off for painting ease. The canon and support frame are done. I still have to make the cruciform base. I started clean-up on the figures. I'm removing the seam lines with a new, sharp #11 blade. There's more updates to follow. Thanks for viewing. Let's get modeling! Bill

Lap Man, your Soviet howitzer went together quickly, and it looks great. Primary painting went well. Enjoy the rest of the project. Bill

Lap Man, Cool looking D-30 howitzer. That is one well stowed gun in travel mode.
Franck, your Churchill turned out great. Got to love that huge spicket mortar.
Good luck to everyone with the remainder of their projects. Bill

Update on my 88mm Gun Flak 18.
In all good conscience, I couldn't build this kit stock. So all the white pieces are styrene details I added via reference material.
Work continues on the Caesar Miniatures figures. Seam lines need removal. Loving this project....especially on a count down clock. Yea!!!!
Hope everyone's builds are going well. Bill

Update on 88mm Gun Flak 18.
Base coat is done. Detail painting and weathering are underway.
Painted one figure as a test of color choices. That Luftwaffe blue tuned out pretty well. One down and 5 to go. Fingers crossed.
Thanks for viewing. Bill

@Mr.K, great job detailing up the interior of the Bereg A-222.
Mr. K, just as an F.Y.I. - MiniArt now makes a plastic version (available separately) of the Bereg engine (T-55 tank engine) that is even more well detailed than the Verlinden resin version.

Thanks for your words, William and Michael.
The original engine is hidden below the cover, so I decide taking it out, maybe for another show.

Smart move! I'm sure I would have done the same. (If I had thought of it!)
Kudos
