Looking for some info in the T97E2 tracks used on the M48 and earlier M60/M60A1/M60A2.

What parts of this track are rubber and what parts metal ?

The guide-horns are metal. As are the side-sliding connection blocks. But that leaves the actual bock itself, with one side kissing the road, and the other side kissing the rubber road-wheels on the inside.
Is this block all rubber ? Or just the thread part and the rest of it is metal ?

They're not the octagonal rubber block types as seen on later models, including the A3 and M88. Those are the T142 type. Here the octagonal part is rubber and the rest metal.

It looks like the block is completely rubber:

Rubber all around,end connectors/ center guides were metal.They would get shiny,and start hazing over with rust after a few hours of being still.

One solid hunk of rubber. Makes a great doorstop. Two man carry.
