Dmitrii,
Fantastic looking finish to this amazing build! I want a poster of this masterpiece to hang next to my workbench for inspiration!
Your figure conversions look awesome too, look forward to seeing the vignette come together.

Oh Chris, you embarrass me.

In fact, after three weeks of practicing all the lewdness after the construction of the SU-85, I returned to experiments with sculpting and deep conversion with figures.
The third time I picked up all two-component mass and began to sculpt. The base was the figure of gunner from the set of the Soviet infantry MiniArt (35108), with which almost everything was cut to zero, except for the boots.
As a result, I wanted to "dress up" a figure in camouflage cloak, give a machine gun and a bulletproof vest SN-42. Breastplate sculpting according to the drawings, it turned out in my opinion not bad.
When began to sculpt the pants oand the strap for the breastplate - used Epoxy Putty from Tamiya. Later in the case went to the newly acquired Magic Sculpt and Green Stuff. In fact, the figure was ready a week ago, everything was waiting for the head to photograph it. A separate perversion was the "lacing" of plastic shoes. Such a pleasure. 🌚 Sometimes I like it, sometimes I don't, but I'm generally happy.
DP-27 with a bag - MiniArt 35154. Bag for grenades - from the same place. A German flask and a bayonet knife are something from the Dragon. Head - ARMOR35.
Already before the priming of the figure I will make normal belts. Hands, head and small things are fixed on a drop of glue so that they can be removed normally for painting. 🌚
There are still 2 figures left, and one of them is almost ready.
Somehow like this.🌚

Very nice, I love what you did. The brest plate armor looks great. You mentioned that you will be doing a few more figures, will any of them have the breast plate armor?

No Greg, no one else will have a breastplate for now. There will also be a figure of a sniper and a machine gunner's assistant in a German double-sided jacket.

So far, the penultimate figure in the upcoming diorama, is again the fighter of assault brigades in city battles.

The base is the same set of Soviet infantry MiniArt (35108), with which almost everything was cut to zero, except boots.

Originally I liked the photo, where a piece of camouflage clung to the pouch, and tried to implement it.
Sculpted from Magic Sculpt. For my idea I had to make new hands together, molding the wrist became a real test, the grip was quite difficult for the first time, but the result was very pleased.
It was also very problematic to "bind" the shoes. In general, I think that the work already looks better than the previous three figures, more satisfied with the work done than not. 🌚
Mosin rifle with optics - MiniArt 35108. Pouch - from there. Head - Hornet.

Already before the priming of the figure I will make normal belts. Hands, head and small things are fixed on a drop of glue so that they can be removed normally for painting. 🌚

There is still 1 figure, well, maybe two, if not laziness.

Something like this. 🌚

Have you thought about sculpting your own figures from scratch and marketing them?

The last figure of a soldier of the Red Army for a diorama, again a fighter of assault brigades in city battles, an assistant to a machine gunner.

Base - a set of Soviet infantry Miniart (35108), everything was cut off, except for the boots.

Material - Magic Sculpt. For the first time I made a "Vatnik" and I am generally satisfied with the work done, now I need to improve more.🌚

MP-40 - Zvezda, pouch - Dragon. As well as the bag and T.Mi. 43. Flask - MiniArt (35108). Grenade - MiniArt (35154), Box for machine gun ammo - MiniArt (35170), Luger- MasterBox. Head from ARMOR35 I do not seem to have forgotten anything.

As it is. 🌚

I have to agree, your figures are very well done.

I know it's a but late in the build, but for a little variation, why not a woman sniper/spotter?

Hm. Woman-sniper is very interesting Randall, but sniper in assault sapper-engineering brigade is another. Because these troops were recruited young and strong man. Their main task was reconnaissance, breakthrough and assault of fortified positions of the enemy. And often there were hand-to-hand fights. All the same, objectively, a woman in those years, could hardly overcome a man in melee.

I understand. I didn't realize it was an assault sapper brigade.

I have 4 sisters, and I think 1 of them would have made a pretty good assault soldier!

Great picture, thank you.

Yes, my sister would have fit into that picture perfectly. When younger she was a no nonsense scrapper.

All I can say is WOW. Your work on the figures is absolutely stunning! As previously commented, you could easily cast these and sell them.

Do you do commission work???

Oh, Big thanks Colin! In order to sell my own figures - I need to learn how to sculpt the head. I plan to do this in the near future (=

And what do you mean about commission work?

Meaning there are not enough talented sculpters available and lots of interesting ideas that people may want to see produced.

If you can get face sculpting done well, along with the level of work you are showing here, you may have many interested people to sculpt for.

Finally, the latest figure for the diorama. Probably, heh.

Initially, the base for the conversion was the figure from the MiniArt 35139. I wanted to make a battered, wounded soldier of the Wehrmacht, who will be turned to views full of contempt.
Material - Magic Sculpt. For the first time I sculpted overcoat, having created to itself a heap of problems, so that the overcoat was thrown over shoulder, and that she was lying on the steps, but in the end it turned out like that. 🌚
Head - Hornet.
Hand and head are fixed on a drop of glue, that they can be properly removed for painting. 🌚
Now it's time to start coloring the very diorama.
Something like this.🌚

The captured soldier looks good.

Rather than just a look of contempt, add a bit of nervous fear. I remember a video showing a group of Germans captured during the fighting in Germany and one man was giving the camera man the contempt look, but at the same time his eyes kept moving from side to side so you could tell he was very nervous.
