IBG models offers a nicely detailed 1/72nd scale Type 89 Japanese medium tank-the late production gasoline engine type. Here is a build up review of this little kit.

That's an amazing little kit. Great job putting it together, Russ. Glad to see they are still including partially assembled tracks. I think the figures could have been better sculpted and yet the detail on the tank is wonderful. I love that IJA camo!

Nice job you've done there, Russ. Looks to be an interesting kit with some aspects that other manufacturers have recently decided to abandon (PE, individual tracks, more than a dozen parts). Thanks for sharing this with us.

Cheers,
Jan

Thank you, Fred and Jan. For all the extras offered, the kit isn't expensive either, so it makes a good value all around. I really was impressed.

By "they", do you mean IBG? Fine Molds made one in two different versions.

Excellent kit for this company, all parts fit well particularly the link and length tracks. Figures are also good considering in 1/72 scale not many manufacturer produce them. I built mine for Malaya December 1941.
