Got the wood chopping area about done so Mr cat came to inspect. I also got to try out several different companies' take on flowers. The bushes along the road were installed as well. Things are coming together bit by bit.

This little scene with the house and vegitation looks very realistic to me , nice colortones on the roof tiles .
Maybe an apple tree somewhere in the corner could be a nice suggestion ?? Anyways it's your project and you are doing a splendid job .

The apple tree is a brilliant idea Kurt but I think I ran out of room. I have a rabbit shed and a small veggie garden planned for the right side. I will have to think about that apple tree though.

Here is the rabbit cage. The strings that they use to close it will be adjusted for gravity when this finds it final position in the dio. The whole shed will be covered by small roof so it will not be seen as clear as this.
I went for leather hinges as this is supposed to be rural.

Exquisite JR - any chance of some cobwebs? I think Dave (Sunday Service cancelled) was considering doing some but I've no idea if it's even possible...unless you can capture the real thing, those tiny spiders' webs would almost be to scale!

Love the rabbit hutch, nice touch with the leather hinges. Wonder how many people will notice and understand that little detail.

Tim-cobwebs are actually do-able. Andrew Argent in England,who is a brilliant modeler makes them ith mineral spirits shot from a airbrush. Very convincing looking as well. Not up to that level myself thogh.

I have been working believe it or not.
The shed roof in it's infancy
I wanted to make it just like the real types are made.
Here is underneath showing the tiles hooked onto the lathes.
I wanted a cultivated field planted by the peasants so I challenged myself by going for cauliflower. The plants are from JTT but you can see the stock version on the bottom and my "tweeked" version on top.
Yesterday I added a poor mans' fence made from woven branches. Last night and today I completed a grape vine to go on the fence.Poor folks have to use every square inch they can so stuff I crammed in here.
