You're a master! I feel frozen at every corner of your diorama...

Anyway, you said that the snow was made only from the mix of baking soda + PVA glue + white acrylics. Is it okay for a long time without mix of anti bacteria (such high percentage of alcohol, in order to avoid the baking soda for becoming yellow as time goes by)?

Thanks for sharing mate & again, so incredible work!

Kind regards from Indonesia

I have a "thing" for winter dios, and this one is exceptional!! The KV, figures, base, everything looks great. I also like how you used the rail section. Given the title you chose, one can imagine Stalingrad somewhere over the horizon. Thanks for sharing!

This is one of THE best winter scenes I’ve ever seen, Sergey – it’s perfect.

Well 99% perfect, my eye keeps getting drawn to that “floating” front-starboard bogie…maybe you could just lower the bogie and cover the disjointed axle with a lump of mud/snow?

Magnificent, congratulations!(with your permission, I now have my 2017 Christmas cards)

Nice stuff, but someone should tell the guy sitting on the fender that he's likely to get a terminal case of cold ass if he stays there too long, sheepskin coat or not. Otherwise I really like it, and just looking at it makes me cold. That makes it visually very effective.

I really enjoyed this. One thought is that the red star on the hat of the fender sitting figure should really be muted down in its intensity. Otherwise I admit I would be hard pressed to do as good a job. Thanks for sharing a magnificent piece.

Yes Sergey this is excellent. Simple interaction of vehicle/figures and nice size depicting all the various aspects of freezing terrain. Well done.

Cheers Comrade

Well done. The figures look great and the railroad track is a unique touch. You captured the cold well.
