Hello to all.

I have just finished my new model – Tiger Model T-90MS MBT.

The MS is the latest version of the Russian Uralvagonzavod T-90 family. Released in 2011, MS is the downgrade export version of the T-90AM, and can be optionally fitted with Arena-E APS and 12.7 mm MG RCWS. Compared to the previous T-90 models, MS features new-level digitization, automation, stealth technology, protection (next generation integrated Relikt ERA combined with spaced and slat armor, with NBC & Kevlar spall liner) and is NCW-integrated.

Some prototype reference.

TVM-2012 (early version T-90MS, stealth cover, 2011 camo)

RAE-2013 (late version T-90MS, 2013 camo w/violet)

IDEX 2013 (late version T-90MS, 2013 camo w/black)

Army 2016 (late version T-90MS, 12.7 mm RCWS, 2013 camo w/black)

My idea was to build the late version in the IDEX 2013 splinter, but on tests somewhere in Russia and heavily covered with mud. (It was a long build. When I started it, the Trumpeter late type T-90MS kit was not yet released.)

The Tiger Model kit depicts the early version, but optionally includes some late features. I used them to partially rebuild it (LED headlamps, driver’s CCTV, late-type air condition unit, stealth exhaust, larger APU casing etc.) These changes are not meant in the kit instructions though. I guess that Tiger Model had an option of possible releasing the late version but did not do that by now. The main difference between the versions is the turret side armor. My model is still not exactly correct, because it ended up kind of late version with early version turret armor.

For building the late version as on the last pic, Live Resin 12.7 mm RCWS for T-90 can be used http://www.live-resin.com/june-2017.html

That dirt and mud looks so realistic that it feels as if I would want to wash my hands after looking at it

Nice muddy tank on testing maneuvers! I especially like the detailed turret bustle that can be shown open or closed.

Thank you!

I think though the ammo assembly is incorrectly molded by the manufacturer. It seems more logic to me the single blow-out bustle capsule to be filled with either HEFs only, or HEATs only, not mixed altogether.
