Hi Bob

Sorry for the late reply.I did not check it often to see if you replied.
Do you have an email address to send you the pictures.

The pictures are copy write protected By David Harper because they where going to be used in a book or magazine the he was doing on the LVT's but sadly he passed away before he completed it.

Cheers,

Ralph

Okay. Back to work on the Renault. Basic assembly and all etch now done.

Have primed and pre-shaded since these pics,

The Voyager etch set has replacement fittings for some clamps which I decided was not worth the effort to add

I thought your project was over. How much should they have thought to make this misunderstanding?
Good luck!

Okay, I am not as fast as you Kalin.

That Puma from Legend I was building for the Resin 2 GB just sucked up so much time in research just work out where bits go, what the etch should look like, scratch building parts... . That is a shelf queen for a while longer, but it won't beat me. I will finish it soon;- (corncob pipe in hand) "I shall return...".

The Renault will be finished in the next couple of weeks. I have to drive my wife interstate to race her bicycle this weekend, so I wont have any bench time with an over 2000km round trip on my plate.

Okay, Progress pics. Base coat, post shading and decals on.

Next stop seal the decals (All Aarcher except the registration number is a spare from Dragon - their 234/1 kit I think - they give you a blank plate and lots of numbers to choose from so I could create the actual number from the vehicle in the picture) then weathering and the equipment load.

Finally I am getting started on my build - the starting picture and picture of the original is in a previous post.

Construction has started. The tracks went on fine and look really nice for the scale.

More to follow soon

Hey guys, sorry I've been absent from the build thread. I'm glad to be back.

Thanks Peter for commenting so nicely on my build.

Peter, great job making the gun supports for your PaK armed UE. Painting and markings look top notch.
Jesper, the German KV-1 build is progressing nicely. I didn't realize it was in 1/48th scale....looks great.

Good luck everyone on your projects.

This is my final reveal on my Sherman with Mine Roller. I had a terrific time on the campaign. Thanks for the fellowship.

Since the last update, I added the tank tools, stowage, and drive sprockets for the rollers.

I also applied a road dust filter all along the lower half of the model.

The last alteration was to reposition the turret machine gun to the rear of the commander's hatch. It just looked better there.

Oh, the absolutely last thing I did was add a radio antenna. Promise!

I made a quick base to show the Sherman in action clearing a mined road. Boom!!!

Great campaign! Good luck everyone finishing your projects. I'll be watching. Bill

Painting is progressing well. Next is some weathering. It might be a stretch to reach the deadline without rushing the weathering process.

Is it possible with a 2 week extension?

Lap man, you love coming in at the 11th hour don't you! No way I would get that 1/3rd done so close to the end.

Looking very nice Jesper.

Okay, finally the last items have come in so I can finish my build. The Panzer Art 3.7cm Pak 36 Ammunition boxes. Excellent detail on these.

The one single box Dragon gives you is about 1/2 the height it should be, and only option is open - it is at the front in this pic.
