My 1st progress post. All the interior parts are ready for a base coat of Tamiyas (ts-4) german gray rattle can. I figure ill use that instead of ak interactive dunkelgrau (ral7021). Once that's finished drying for a few days. ill spray the interior with ak interactives gelbbraun.

Did a dry fit to make sure everything line-up correctly.

After a lot of thinking on how I should go about this 2nd radio rack. This is what I came up with.

Nothing special but it will work!

Looking great guys. BogiBg, another fine model for the stable. Once again you turned out exceptional work.

Nice to see the Bison coming together John A. Not sure if this build will help with the timber as the real thing was painted Dark Gray all over, including the supports. I am not big on scraping wood grain as it is way oversize to scale. I will ne painting some cargo, so maybe I can do a mini tutorial on the crates.

Colin the beast is beginning to really look the part

Thank's for comments guys, you are making nice progress too.

John, I will try to build Stuart tank with 18pdr gun.

Resicast 18pdr gun just came, together with replacement suspension and wheels from AFV CLUB. Coupled with Eduard photoetch, I am in for - divorce.

BogiBg, great 2nd build of the 5cm armed halftrack. It looks just like the wartime photo.
John A, Nice clean build of the Bison. I like the scratchbuilt radio racks.
Colin, Cool camouflage paint scheme on your big gun panzerjager.
BogiBg, way to go cranking out these quality builds. The 3rd build is unusual and interesting.

Keep up the great work everyone. Bill

Sherman mine roller update.

All the suspension pieces are ready for assembly.

I had to add new position posts for the drive sprockets. This will help the alignment of the sprocket to the hull.

All the suspension pieces are painted and assembled to the hull.

The kit's link and length tracks went together fairly well. The end connections needed sanding for a proper fit. A repair was made to the outer track cleats due to breakage.

I'm pretty pleased with the outcome of the tracks and suspension pieces.

That's it for now. Good luck everyone with your prospective builds. Bill

Nice save on the repairs.

Thanks Fellas for the comments!

Good progress's Colin and Bogi!!

Im looking forward seeing the finished crates Peter!

Ive been debating if I should go with the SK-60 tracks or Fruilmodel ATL-122. I did do a search on the web about any reviews on ATL-122, ended up striking out.

Would anyone know if ATL-122 fit the drive sprockets the came with the kit or Should I just buy them, find out if they fit and let the modeling world know?

Your Sherman is coming along nicely William, looking forward to the finished product! Bogi, a Stuart with a 17 pounder? Wow, that will be interesting, the British version of my Panzerjaeger IB, which, as it turns out, is now finished!

Update on my Sherman with mine roller.

I had to add a filler piece between the transmission plate and front hull. The kit added P.E. details for fender filet pieces and transmission bolted bar.

The kit also provided P.E. details for the headlight and tail light brush guards. Forming jigs for the brush guards are a much welcomed kit addition(see red arrow).

Tail light face plates are the last kit provided P.E. detail.

That is all for now. Thanks for viewing. Bill

I am finished. Lots of job on this little tank, many 18pdr gun parts were badly wrapped. I added some details, made mud guards...

And, finished model

Colin, great idea for campaign, it pushed me to finish some models I wanted to have for some time. Thank you

Shaping up very nice Bill. I've yet to see a Sherman kit where the transmission actually fits properly against the hull with no work needed by a modeller.

BogiBg, another very fine addition to the collection. Fantastic finish. A 'Funny" indeed.

Update on my Sherman with mine roller.

Work begins on the mine roller assembly. I randomly damaged the roller wheels to show mine explosive effects.

Using the Verlinden mine roller as a template, I added some missing details. Here I added some lift handles(made out of thin wire).

On the bottom of the mine roller, I also added some missing details. I added multiple wheel dividers and strong-back braces.

I'll be adding crewmen to the Sherman with mine roller. The figures are Millicast resin figures.

That's it for this update. Thanks for viewing.

Very nice Bill. It has seen a lot of service then!

I note you also have a scratch built push frame lurking in the background too.
