Great figure but I don't like that rear sight and bayonet lug on that carbine! One of the jewels of my gun collection is my WW2 General Motors Inland October-1943 production M1 carbine that my Grandpa brought back from the war. It has the early rear sight and no bayonet lug so that's the first thing I always look for now! From what I've been told, after 1945, they added the new rear sights and bayonet lug (like the one the figure has) and that's a quick way to identify a post-war or updated one.
