Calling it done. Passing from the Americans to the Soviets to the Germans and beyond, the Stuart found itself under many different owners during the war. If I didn't only build German armor I could've done it as a Japanese capture. Always the future, I suppose.

Anyway, basically the stock Tamiya kit with markings applied with stencils. The stainless steel stencil fought me on the front plate, as can be seen. Paints are mostly Tamiya, with the exception of Vallejo track primer (the reddish-brown). Weathering material is a mix of the Tamiya makeup kits, Vallejo and AK pigments, and a mixture of pencils both colored and soft lead.

Kit was inspired by this pic:

It's a new-tool Tamiya kit; what more can be said?

Very Nicely done pair of Light Tanks Guys. Love the paint finishes.

That front Balkenkreuz would have been difficult with a steel stencil alright Shell. Just one thing, if you are interested, the tail lights were fairly universal fittings on US Tanks and other vehicles and the lenses are not all red.

In fact, most were different on each side:

Very nice tanks guys, i'm deeply envious.

A few build shots of the Academy PzKpfw 35(t)

And the painted and decalled (but not weathered) result, vehicle of the 6PD in Operation Barbarossa

It went together nicely, the only difficulty was in getting the track sections to stretch enough to join well.

Very Nice Richard. Don't forget to paint the road wheel tyres before you start weathering!!!

In case you are interested, the jacks were painted black. You can see the darker tone here:

The tyres are blacked, the mk.I eyeball can see the difference - just the camera can't pick it up. Thanks for the tip on the jack, there's a few I can go back and do.
