Nederlands ? I didn't know their army used it. Do they use it at war ?

German versions already exist in both 1:35 and 1:72.

The Dutch Boxer has been in the Koninklijke Landmacht for many years now.
After extensive trials it is now part of the standard equipment.
Due to the nature of the Dutch participation in the various missions worldwide it has not been used in combat circumstances yet.
However, they are in use in the Dutch participation in the NATO units in Lithuania.

Beware: there are differences between the German and Dutch vehicles.
Have a look at Facebook ‘13 Lichte Brigade’ for some Dutch Boxers.

It’ll be interesting to see how different the production truck is to the trial truck.

Recon role. I am curious to see whether there are Repair and Recov variants in the mix

Would imagine so, will replace ASLAV and all its variants so assume PC, this variant, RAEME, ambulance, command, surveillance?
Makes the next phase interesting, M113 replacement.

Don't forget that the UK has also now decided to purchase Boxer (again). Variant list TBC, but no gun-turreted ones. Probably some tall hulls for medical and C4/ISTAR. Possibly an 81m mortar carrier. Speculation that the Rafael Spike "Exactor" launcher turrets might be transferred from the M113s

* 211 hulls
* 231 mission modules
*133 IFV turrets (each with 30mm cannon, 7.62mm co-ax, twin Hunter/killer sights, dual anti-tank missiles, 12.7mm RWS)
*133 surveillance suites (LRAS equivalent, ground surveillance radars)
* new factory, plus new facilities in five locations.
* first three years of logistic support.

Not “$23 million each”, not “an APC”, and, at 38-42 tonnes, not “a LAV”.

Work in progress.

Not a copy of the MoD sales announcement version but I just wanted to paint it in the Union (Jack) flag.

Moved the remote weapons station location and that has still to be built and corrected. The version in the Stryker kits is the closest I have on hand. This is the Revell Germany kit with Tank Workshop resin wheels..
