I have to say I'm a little underwhelmed by this SWAT figure. I've seen better detail on 1/35 scale figures, and the weapon's size is a little suspect as well.

Having built plastic figures for years, in my opinion, nothing beats resin.

1/24 scale is becoming popular and quite a few of the Special Forces soldiers look just like S.W.A.T., minus the hand grenade pouches, machine guns, and grenade launcher. After all, military gear is often handed down to S.W.A.T. police anyway. While one may not be able to use a SOF soldier as 1/24 scale, there are SOF figures in 1/35 and 1/16 that would substitute nicely.

Looks like he's holding a toy gun! Maybe have to paint the muzzle tip orange.

The flash on the gun moulding is worse than the old soft plastic Airfix 1/72 soldiers.

Yep, the scale of the gun is off, not to mention the scale of the scope.

Practically all of today's S.W.A.T. uses the modular Rail Interface System and the cylindrical barrel handguard is a thing of the past.

This is an odd mismatch since the figure wears a modern Crye helmet with side rail attachments; however the M4 carbine itself is dated.
