I am new to all this, and wanted to ask from anyone's experience. Do live resin and/or legend helmets generally a perfect fit with plastic model kits from Dragon, Trumpeter, Master box, etc. I wanted to replace the helmets from the plastic model kits with cooler looking helmets(with NVGs) from live resin or legend. Thanks in advance.

You almost always have to trim the head tops of plastic figures to make after market helmets fit level. So it really doesn't matter.

I think Kevin was refering to size difference between plastic figures and resin aftermarket helmets.

Was that the question Kevin?

Hey there Mario, yeah I was indeed referring to the size difference between the two, and how good it would look when combined. I was worried it would be too big and look bad.

Have you personally ever tried it? I see that you've written a lot of review on live resin products and look forward to hearing from you back. Thanks

Honestly, I don't know. I usually do resin figures and I don't have any of modern plastic offerings in my stash to compare the sizes.

If I remember correctly, Epi commented on the size of Masterbox figures vs Legend helmets... have you seen that thread?

These 2 pictures show one of the figures from the Master Box Ltd. "No Soldier Left Behind - MWD Down" set. It has the original head with Live Resin Peltor Head Set and MICH Helmet.

A figure from the Master Box Ltd "Under Fire, Modern US Infantry" set with complete head, Peltor head set, and MICH helmet from Live Resin.

Another figure from the Master Box Ltd. "No Soldier Left Behind" set with a complete head, Peltor head set, and MICH helmet from Live Resin.

Hello,
I think it will be better to use new heads with helmets! The plastic
figure kits have limitations to sculpting characteristics on the faces, poor ears...etc. Of course, nowadays the quality is much better than the first Tamiya, Italaeri, Italeri, Airfix, etc..
