Tom I really like the positioning of your figures.

Ah yes, been in this same position many times. Our 6 volt, '43 Ford Jeep was always hard to start!

Just as a minor suggestion: You might want to add a wire cutter to the front bumper. Easy enough to do and easy to build out of a little Evergreen angle. I'll happily send you enough stock to do the job if finding it is any problem in your area.

Regards

Mike K.

Thanks Mike, but the kit actually includes one! I wasn't sure about using it, as the bumper codes cover a wide area, but will do some measurements and see.

I left this on the side, I feel disappointed by the accident with the microwave oven, but at the end I wanna finish it!

Thank you Peter, very much!

I agree Byron and I happen to think this truck looks even better as an open cab!

p.s. I would still hang on to that melted cab for use in some future "Wrecked CCKW" dio!

(I'll take it off your hands it you don't want it!)

I agree. A very nice save Byron and a great base to move forward on.

I am going to have to withdraw from this build. My wife has several broken bones after a cycling accident and caring for her is keeping me busy. With other builds on the go, I'll never have time to start or finish here. I'm still going to be following everyone else though!

I have achieved little progress this week on the refrigerated container I featured a while back but I am also working on this new Bulkhead Flatrack kit recently offered by MMK:

Wood grain treatment added to the rack floor and the "B" endwall:

My other project that I originally started this campaign with is a 20' Refrigerated Container - so here I show a current progress photo of my primary logistical project.

And a few days earlier:

Current progress on 20' Refrigerated Container :

No further progress on 20' Bulkhead Flatrack.

Currently distracted by Wingy-Thingy(s) and fire breathing model Steam Locomotives!

@Lap Man - Nice truck, mate! My dad got his drivers licence on it in WW 2, about 10 years ago I build him one in 1:72 as a birthday gift.
Keep going!

Not sure I'm gonna make it in time, what with detail painting, weathering, and final assembly - who'd have thought a simple jeep was so much work?
