I decided to build three Polish humvees operating in Iraq and Afghanistan. The vehicles belong to the Special Commando Regiment, GROM and the CIMIC mission

Little update

Several photo-etched parts have been attached, the missing front window shield, missing behind the Eduard ASK set, the walls behind the rear seats, and the folded suspension.

Just in case you were not aware Toro makes a set of Polish Humee decals, Including a Iraq Special Ops one. I have the braile scale version.

Thanks to a colleague from the Humvee forum for photos, voice in discussion and substantive help. After installing the elements of the air conditioner and setting the table with the radio station, and the shooter platform, there are very few chances for the presence of the DUKE case inside. I put it in the corner of the pit to simulate its presence there, although the location is not too happy for me. I made the crate housing and started playing with the oGPK shield with coarse welds. Also, side hoppers on the wheel arches were created.

Piotr, people like you are the main reason I joined Armorama on the first place. I love watching how fast you can assemble your builds and I love your scratch built parts. Inspirational!

Regards,

Eric

Eric- thank you very much for these words. I will try not to disappoint at further stages of construction.

Change of plan - air conditioner made again. Completed armor plate of the rear part.

Small change - the second vehicle is a modified M1025 GROM. I am waiting for the elements for the air conditioner. I will build, of course, the originally planned GROM dumvee
