Hello model maker

Got a new kit today, it's the Trumpeter BTR-152 kit. It's a kit I've been waiting for for many years. Until now there was only the ski kit from the Skis company, there is no longer any need to speak about the quality and design of this kit. There are worlds between these two kits. This new kit will be interesting for many model builders, because you can build different versions of this vehicle. As far as I know, Takom also wanted to bring out this vehicle as a model. But nothing has happened so far. I just learned that Takom has a different strategy. So, I wish you a lot of fun with this new kit, now the kit in pictures.

Best regards truck

The old Skif offerings were a definite pain but somehow rewarding. And having to bogart the larger tires from the Zil-157K's was getting a little old. In fact, it makes sense that Trumpeter finally got around to this last year, they already had a lot of parts from the Zil kit. From what i can see there's no old school external tire inflation system, but that's easy enough to scratch if you have to have it.
I'll need one of these. Or two even.

Construction on the model has started, it is building very well. I started with the engine. It is not advisable to follow the order of the construction plan, you have to make your own decision about the order. Here are some photos of the construction process.

There's no C or H sprue in this issue, so there are likely more variants coming.

Construction on the model continued. The fit of the parts is very good. You can build a very good model with this kit. Here are new pictures.

Construction model BTR-152 has ended. I did not build the model after a model museum, it arose from my memories as I saw it earlier on our streets. It corresponds to a replica of a vehicle of the traffic regulators of the 302 мотострелковый полк (Риза). I will open a special topic later on for traffic regulators. Here are the first pictures of the model.
