BA-20

  • header71
Here is my model of Soviet BA-20 light armoured car. The kit from RPM in 1/35 is made from a terrible green plastic which is low on detail and has inaccuracy issues. This model represents a vehicle from an unidentified Soviet cavalry brigade during the Polish Campaign of 1939. On the armour are two propaganda posters which are explaining the ‘righteousness’ of the attack on Poland together with Germany. Additionally, I have scratch built handles for doors and made covers. I also added an antenna and I have built headlamps and bulbs.

Looks good. Nice idea with the posters. Maybe it is just my screen colours, but this looks very rusty in colour on my screen? I know what you mean about the kit. It is a tough one to build into something properly, but you did a great job on it. Thanks for sharing

Hello Yes, it's a bit too rusty on these photos Now I would send better photos, but these aren't worst. Besides in some areas of pre-war eastern Poland, dust was exactly rusty. I would like to thank Henk and Darren also. It's great to see my kit in this fine gallery! Adam
